In mid-September 2022, a batch of steel and equipment goods carried by RONGTUA Group was loaded onto a cargo ship named MSR NO.1 and shipped from Shanghai to Malaysia and Singapore.
During the voyage, a dispute arose between the shipowner and the recipient in Malaysia over the safety of the cargo. The recipient applied to detain the vessel at the first port of discharge and required a substantial amount of guarantee before allowing the vessel to depart.
However, the shipowner and association were deliberately delaying and refusing to provide guarantees for the release of the vessel, and intentionally detained the cargo at the second port of discharge, disallowing transshipment.
As time went by, the shipowner became unable to pay wages, leading to the crew's anxiety and the vessel's semi-abandoned status, unable to sail, and the situation became increasingly serious.
Guided by the principle of "customer-oriented," RONGTUA Group proposed the requirement of "Prioritizing helping customers solve problems" and ensuring smooth delivery to the recipient in Singapore.
After repeated discussions, RONGTUA ultimately bought the vessel from the original shipowner at all costs and renamed it SOL SHANGHAI.
After more than 120 days of unremitting efforts, the vessel finally arrived in Singapore in early February 2023 and was safely unloaded.
This move by RONGTUA Group ensured that the customers avoided losses to the greatest extent possible and received high praise and extensive acclaim.
The maritime environment is unpredictable, and shipping risks are unavoidable. RONGTUA Group has always adhered to the service philosophy of "Safety, Integrity, Efficiency, Economy" and is an international logistics carrier that dares to shoulder responsibility.
RONGTUA promises: we will make every effort to solve any problems encountered in the transportation process and can be trusted to deliver as promised!
